Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre (Full-time, Permanent)

Our stunning new home, Grappenhall Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built 70-bed care facility located in Warrington, Cheshire. Opened in April 2023, it provides the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care to residents with diverse needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. We invest in the latest technology and offer engaging daily activities and gentle exercises to enhance residents’ wellbeing. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, undergo full induction, and receive ongoing training through our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. We pride ourselves on having a permanent staff team, with no agency staff for over 5 years, to ensure continuity and trust in care. All staff are paid at least the national minimum wage.
We are seeking a kind, motivated, and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team. You will oversee the clinical operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care through effective supervision, assessment, planning, and evaluation. This is a full-time role with an excellent salary of £50,000+ per year. Shift hours are 07:45–20:00 with alternate weekends; flexibility is required for covering leave and sickness.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support the Home Manager in achieving business performance and quality targets.
* Provide leadership and management to care staff.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure high-quality care delivery and uphold standards.
* Contribute to safety, quality, and financial management of the home.
* Promote the care home within the local and national community.
* Safeguard the welfare of adults in contact with the post holder.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Registered Nurse (1st Level)
* Experience in managing people, services, and quality to meet targets
* Background in Health and Social Care
* Excellent time management, organization, and initiative
* Effective communication and relationship-building skills
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and in-house systems
