Connect Appointments have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Transport Admin Assistant to join our manufacturing client based in Grangemouth!
Schedule: Rotational shifts
Responsibilities
* Creating, printing, and cross-checking legal paperwork
* Managing collection drivers and assisting at the transport office reception
* Providing daily reports of on-site status
* Liaising with the operations team to communicate schedule changes
* Managing spreadsheets and recording workloads for invoice reconciliation and stock control
* Adhering to all site safety rules, actively reporting near misses
* Following the ISO Quality Management System, operating risk assessments, and the 5’s storage system
* Assisting in the induction of visiting hauliers and ensuring compliance with PPE and safety standards
Qualifications
* Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy - particularly with data entry
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
* A proactive approach to safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs
* Proficiency in Word and Excel
* A strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and punctuality
