This nationally recognised specialist school in sunny Crawley is seeking a Teacher to join their committed and welcoming team. This school supports 250 pupils with complex needs including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and physical disabilities. At present over 70 of the students at the school have Autism. This school is one of the largest locally and is greatly endorsed in the local community. This is a respect school and prides itself on treating every child as an individual. This schools curriculum was credited in its latest ofsted report and in addition to being broad, creative, balanced and embracing the outdoors it also includes Enterprise and Vocational elements, Independent Life and Living Skills, College link courses and a progressive Careers programme that help the pupils now and in the future.
The school is looking for a teacher to join their team in ASAP (notice periods considered) on a full time, permanent basis (40 hours a week). This role is a term time only opportunity. Post holders will lead and plan lessons for a class of approx 6:10 pupils on a daily basis. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the young people.
