Job Description
3. Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations.
4. Conduct and oversee audit assignments from planning through to completion.
5. Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
6. Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing support where necessary.
7. Maintain strong client relationships and handle client queries professionally.
8. Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards.
9. Provide support to clients regarding tax matters and financial planning.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:
11. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
12. Proven expertise in audit and accounts preparation within accountancy practice.
13. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing regulations.
14. Experience in managing client relationships effectively.
15. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
16. Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members.
17. Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
