Night Catering Assistant - Coleford (Manufacturing Site) Rate: £14.24 per hour (All-inclusive Direct PAYE rate) Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire Contract: Temporary to Permanent | Hours: 25 hours per week (Sun - Thu, 10:30 PM - 3:30 AM) Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting a reliable Night Catering Assistant on behalf of a leading National Facilities Management Provider. The Client Our client manages the catering and soft services for a busy, 24-hour manufacturing site in Coleford. We are looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to support the night-shift workforce, ensuring they have access to quality food and a clean dining environment. The Role This is a fixed night-shift role, working 25 hours a week from Sunday night through to Thursday night (10:30 PM to 3:30 AM). Working within the on-site commercial kitchen, your daily duties will include: Food Preparation: Assisting with basic food prep for the night service. Counter Service: Serving hot and cold food, snacks, and drinks to the manufacturing site staff during their breaks. Kitchen Upkeep: Cleaning the kitchen equipment, washing down prep areas, and ensuring the counter and dining spaces remain spotless and hygienic. Requirements Experience: Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, canteen, or fast-paced catering environment is essential if you do not hold formal qualifications. Desirable Qualifications: A Level 2 Food & Hygiene certificate and Food Allergen training are highly desirable, but not strictly essential if you have strong, proven kitchen experience. Essential: You must be comfortable and reliable working late-night/early-morning shifts (10:30 PM - 3:30 AM). What's on Offer Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour (Direct PAYE, including holiday pay). Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week, fixed shifts so you can plan your days. Progression: This role starts on a temporary basis but will lead to a permanent position for the right person.
