Blue Arrow is recruiting an experienced chef for a temporary ad hoc position in the Tewkesbury area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General food preparation
2. Previous experience as a chef
3. Filling away deliveries
4. Washing utensils and dishes
5. Running a lone section of the kitchen
6. Cooking all food to excellent quality
7. Storing and sorting ingredients properly
8. Maintaining cleanliness of food prep areas in line with health and safety and food hygiene procedures
9. Completing daily paperwork including temperature checks
Skills Required:
1. Food hygiene level 2 (dated within the last three years)
2. Previous experience as a chef
3. Willingness to clean necessary areas
4. Excellent organisation and time-management skills
5. Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team
6. Effective communication and reporting skills
7. Hard-working and reliable
8. Experience in a similar role or environment
9. Reliability and punctuality
Additional Requirements:
Applicants must already hold an enhanced child DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one before starting work. Also, they must hold a food hygiene level 2 certificate or be willing to obtain one before commencing work.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 2pm
