About the role
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Lecturer in the Built Environment to join our Construction team a supportive, experienced, and ambitious group of educators who are dedicated to student success. We are proud to partner with Kier through our Employer Skills Academy, giving our students real-world experience and mentoring.
In this role, you will be delivering high-quality teaching across our T Level programmes, helping students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in the modern construction industry. Whether youre already a qualified teacher or looking to transition into education from industry, we will provide the training and support you need including the opportunity to gain a teaching qualification while you work.
We're looking for somebody with a strong background in the built environment or construction sector, a passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring learners, and a commitment to excellence in education and student success.
Main Responsibilities

management of learning programmes and curriculum development
student admissions
educational guidance

preparation of learning materials and student assignments
marking of students' work
marking of examinations
management and supervision of student visit programmes
research and other forms of scholarly activity

What we can offer you
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £30,570 - £37,668 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role
