Hybrid / Remote Engineer

Role
We're looking for an experienced engineer to support a rental department and assist with the logistics, operation, and build‑up of a new hybrid power fleet. You'll act as the link between depot teams and customers – supporting equipment set‑up, training engineers, and ensuring smooth delivery of hybrid energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with sales and rental teams to ensure correct equipment use and specification.
* Provide 2nd line customer support and resolve technical queries.
* Attend project kick‑off meetings and assist with equipment specification.
* Support engineers with installation and maintenance of hybrid systems, helping develop their skills.
* Monitor installations and report improvements or issues.
* Ensure safe and compliant maintenance, storage and allocation of hire assets.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and general housekeeping across depots.
Skills & Experience
* Background in generators, plant hire, BESS, energy storage or hybrid systems.
* Knowledge of electrical installations and system loading.
* Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.
* Flexible and able to work remotely; full UK driving licence required.
* IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office or similar tools.
