Role Profile Function – Despatch Title – Front Line Manager (FLM) Job Statement The Front Line Manager is responsible for the day to day running of their business area in line with the business values and behaviours. Making well informed decisions that provide efficiency, improvements solutions to their operations and reporting and escalating business information upwards. Task • Manage allocation of daily tasks, efficiently utilising all resources within budget • Problem solving and decision making skills to drive the efficient daily running of all operations • Obtain, interpret and analyse data using company systems and software • Ensure all operations are completed in line to company standards, policies, processes and legal requirements • Communicate clearly to the team, promoting, encouraging and improving two-way communication • Manage general employee relations issues, absence processes, and disciplinary & grievance procedures • Ability to prioritise, forward plan, forecast and delegate ensuring production requirements are met • Able to work in a fast paced, flexible and challenging environment Skill • Supervisory experience in Manufacturing within FMCG environments • An understanding of effective people management, food safety standards, food production processes, and quality and safety standards • Confident user of computer including Microsoft packages Behaviour • Lead and promote positive behaviours and attitudes in line with the “Pukka Values” • Effectively communication • Awareness of self and others • Objective, rational, calm and active listener • Ability to build relationships, motivate, coach, develop and drive a team • Good planning and organisational skills
