Business Development Manager
Remote-first | Full Team Support | Performance-led
Are you a commercially driven BDM who wants the freedom of remote working without losing structure, coaching, and momentum?
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing direct marketing agency, offering the best of both worlds: autonomy, accountability, and daily connection with a high-performing team.
About the Role
We’re a data-led direct marketing agency delivering compliant, results-driven campaigns for ambitious brands. As a BDM, you’ll be responsible for generating new business, managing a healthy pipeline, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships.
This is a predominantly remote role, designed to keep you supported and connected. You’ll take part in daily morning team video calls, have instant access to colleagues and leadership, and attend a monthly in-person team day in Chelmsford or London.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Running outbound activity and lead qualification within agreed processes
* Building and managing a high-converting sales pipeline
* Delivering confident, value-led sales conversations and presentations
* Negotiating and closing deals in a structured, compliant environment
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery
* Contributing ideas and energy to a growing, performance-led agency
About You
You’re a consistent, coachable sales professional who enjoys winning - and doing things properly.
You’ll bring:
* 3+ years’ experience in B2B business development (marketing, media, or services ideal)
* Confidence with outbound sales and pipeline management
* Comfort working to clear activity and revenue targets
* A structured approach to selling, including processes, and feedback
* The ability to work autonomously while staying fully engaged with a team
Why Join Us?
We’ve recently been recognised with the Culture100 Award for 2025, and we’re proud of the environment we’ve built.
You’ll benefit from:
* £28,000–£30,000 basic salary (DOE)
* Uncapped commission with a realistic £40,000–£60,000+ OTE
* Flexible working hours (25–40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm)
* Remote-first working with structured support and monthly in-person days
* Daily team video calls and collaborative tools
* Uncapped annual leave after probation
* A culture that values performance, consistency, and accountability over just presence
Remote doesn’t mean distant here - it means trusted, supported, and set up to succeed.
