Project Accountant Location: Hybrid Portland, Dorset (Osprey Quay) Design systems that are built, tested, and deployed in some of the worlds most demanding environments. Were looking for a Project Accountant to join our Finance Team, helping turn concepts into real-world systems that are manufactured, deployed, and used in the field. With our integration facility located on-site, youll have the unique opportunity to see your contribution come to life. Financial oversight and involvement in delivering systems from concept through build, integration, and final deployment, ensuring cost control and budget adherence throughout. What youll be doing Own project financials: budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting Track project performance and flag risks or opportunities Support project managers with commercial and financial decisions Manage contract variations, invoices, and cost allocations Work closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams Produce clear management reports for stakeholders Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Drive process improvements and best practice in project finance Why this role is different Not your typical desk-based finance role youll be embedded within live projects, working alongside operational and programme teams Youll influence decisions in real time, not just report the numbers Direct exposure to high-value, complex projects with real commercial impact Opportunity to move beyond traditional accounting into true business partnering Be part of a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment where your insight drives project success What were looking for Essential CIMA/ACCA/ACA Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
