Job Description: Clinical Team Leader East London, E14 5NY Permanent, Full time (37.5 hours) Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday work Competitive Salary We make health happen As a Clinical Team Leader within Bupa’s Diagnostics & Secondary Care services, you’ll help shape the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a modern, multidisciplinary environment. You’ll play an important role in supporting teams, elevating clinical standards, and ensuring every patient receives safe, coordinated and compassionate care. How you’ll help us make health happen Provide visible, supportive clinical leadership, role‑modelling high standards of care. Coordinate secondary care clinical areas to ensure safe, effective patient pathways and smooth daily operations. Support staffing, shift leadership and service continuity alongside the Clinical Unit Manager. Drive quality improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance clinical care. Maintain high standards of documentation and ensure compliance with evidence‑based practice. Manage and support staff through challenging situations, complaints and complex clinical scenarios. Promote a strong customer‑service culture across the clinical team. Contribute to governance through audits, incident reviews, and embedding learning across the team. Coach, mentor and support the development of junior team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive culture. Support efficient clinical scheduling, rota management and service delivery to improve patient experience. Key Skills / Qualifications Essential Registered Nurse with active NMC registration. Strong clinical experience with evidence of leading shifts or teams. Experience supporting quality improvement, incident management and change. Experience within outpatient/diagnostic or multi‑specialty services. Excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills. Confident user of Microsoft 365. Desirable Leadership qualification or working towards one. Experience developing protocols, supporting training or contributing to research.
