Buyers now research across AI tools, social platforms, publishers, review sites, and online communities before returning to search. In this environment, brand authority, being recognised, cited, and trusted, is critical. They're now looking to hire a Brand Authority & Digital PR Lead to sit within their Organic team and lead the development of creative, data-led authority campaigns. This role blends Digital PR, brand storytelling, and performance strategy, ensuring brands are visible wherever modern audiences discover, research, and decide. You'll work closely with SEO, Content, Technical, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams to deliver integrated campaigns that connect creativity, data, and distribution into measurable commercial and brand impact. BRAND AUTHORITY & DIGITAL PR LEAD ROLE: * Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and reporting of Digital PR and brand authority campaigns * Lead ideation, media list building, outreach, press release creation, and performance reporting * Manage day-to-day client delivery, communication, and strategic conversations * Deliver coverage, citations, mentions, and backlinks aligned to client KPIs and wider business goals * Build brand authority across publishers, creators, communities, review sites, and AI-driven search platforms * Repurpose high-performing assets across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and PR distribution networks * Collaborate with Paid Search and Paid Social teams to amplify earned content through paid channels * Measure multi-platform impact including coverage quality, backlinks, referral traffic, engagement, AI citations, and brand sentiment * Lead status updates, campaign reviews, and strategy sessions with clients * Present creative ideas and campaign performance confidently to internal teams and external stakeholders * Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, creators, and digital publishers * Identify editorial, partnership, and co-marketing opportunities to strengthen brand positioning * Stay ahead of industry, media, and platform trends to identify emerging visibility channels * Ensure PR activity is aligned with SEO, Content, and Technical strategies * Support new business pitches and contribute to internal case studies and thought leadership * Utilise AI tools responsibly for research, ideation, efficiency, and campaign execution * Monitor brand presence within AI search environments and identify opportunities to improve authority and inclusion * Follow internal processes and use tools such as Asana and Float to manage workflows and delivery * Log time accurately and maintain clear documentation across all campaigns BRAND AUTHORITY & DIGITAL PR LEAD ESSENTIAL SKILLS: * Proven experience in a Digital PR, communications, or integrated marketing role (agency or brand-side) * Strong understanding of modern discovery beyond Google, including social, publisher, and AI-led platforms * Demonstrated experience building brand authority, not just acquiring links * Established relationships with journalists, publishers, creators, or niche media outlets * Confident using data to identify stories, hooks, and insight-led campaign opportunities * Experience measuring success beyond coverage volume, including Share of Search, Brand Sentiment, and Referral Traffic * Strong collaboration skills with SEO, Content, and Paid Media teams * Excellent writing, pitching, and storytelling skills * Ability to communicate and sell creative concepts to data-driven stakeholders DESIRABLE SKILLS: * Experience working across both B2B and B2C campaigns * Understanding of how PR contributes to Knowledge Panels and brand entities * Experience influencing visibility within AI-powered search tools * Familiarity with performance reporting tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, or similar * Previous involvement in mentoring or supporting junior team members BEHAVIOURS & MINDSET: * Creative and bold, with a willingness to experiment and take strategic risks * Highly client-focused with strong relationship-building skills * Adaptable and future-ready in a rapidly evolving media landscape * Organised, accountable, and comfortable owning outcomes * Collaborative communicator across multiple disciplines * Knowledge sharer with a mentor mindset BENEFITS: * Salary up to £55,000 DOE * Hybrid and flexible working * Private medical insurance (cash plan or enhanced cover) * Mental health support and counselling services * Financial wellbeing coaching * Subsidised gym membership * Enhanced parental leave * Interchangeable bank holidays * Paid volunteering days * Work-from-abroad allowance (up to 30 days per year) * Personalised career development and progression plans
