Senior Key Account Manager – Diagnostic Imaging

A market-leading organisation within animal diagnostic imaging is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead and develop strategic corporate accounts while providing operational and people leadership within a regional Account Management team.
This is a senior, customer-facing role combining commercial ownership, team leadership, and clinical/technical expertise. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening long-term partnerships, and supporting customers in maximising the clinical and commercial value of their imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop a regional Account Management team, setting clear performance expectations and KPIs
* Hold full commercial ownership of assigned corporate and key accounts
* Drive revenue growth across capital equipment, service contracts, clinical training, and consumables
* Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity qualification through to closing
* Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
* Develop a deep understanding of customer business models, growth drivers, and challenges
* Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal clinical, technical, and commercial teams
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities to position appropriate solutions
* Support customers in maximising utilisation and return on investment from imaging services
* Upsell technical services, clinical training, and support offerings
* Maintain an accurate and forward-looking sales pipeline and forecasts
* Promote brand presence and strategic positioning across corporate veterinary groups
* Contribute clinical and technical insight to training, audits, and market-facing content
* Coordinate installations, applications, and training with internal teams
* Maintain accurate CRM records covering customer interactions and opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in Key Account Management or senior sales roles within medical, veterinary, or capital equipment environments
* Strong background in diagnostic imaging, medical devices, or complex technical solutions
* Experience managing and developing commercial or account management teams
* Confident working with corporate groups and complex, multi-stakeholder accounts
* Commercially astute with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable operating in a regulated, clinical, or technical environment
* Willingness to travel regularly
* Interest in technology and continuous learning
