About us
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are currently supporting a bright and engaging boy in his early teens with complex health needs and are looking for experienced carers to join his dedicated 2:1 care team. He is non-verbal and non-mobile, requiring full support throughout the night, including monitoring and managing his clinical needs.
He loves Disney movies particularly The Lion King and Toy Story, musical and interactive toys, messy play such as foam and slime, and outings to the cinema and bowling. He’s also a big Wolves fan and enjoys spending time with animals.
He lives at home with his parents, siblings, and two friendly dogs, so carers should be comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment.
Applicants must have hands-on experience in respiratory care and epilepsy management, including the administration of rescue medications for children.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”
What You’ll Need
5. 3 months’ hands-on care experience, including respiratory care, oxygen support, and epilepsy management with rescue medications, experience with children is preferred.
6. Confident administering medication, supporting personal care, and carrying out safe moving and handling.
7. Clear communication skills.
8. Comfortable working in a pet-friendly home (dogs on the property).
9. Must be fully flexible across the whole week
What We Offer
10. Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
11. Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
12. Reward & recognition programme
13. Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
14. Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider
