Are you a qualified accountant looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We're seeking an ambitious
Management Accountant
to play a key role in a rapidly growing finance team, ensuring smooth month-end processes, compliance excellence, and insightful reporting.
What You'll Be Doing as Management Accountant:
* Own the month-end process — from journal postings to producing monthly finance results packs.
* Keep our balance sheet shipshape with timely reconciliations.
* Take charge of VAT returns, grant claim administration, and R&D tax credit reclaims.
* Support year-end audit and statutory account preparation.
* Ensure tax year-end compliance (P11D(b), PSA, etc.) is on point.
* Prepare Office for National Statistics returns.
* Handle ad hoc projects that keep things fresh and challenging.
What We're Looking For as Management Accountant:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with solid Management Accountant experience.
* Strong Excel skills and a sharp analytical mind.
* A proactive, problem-solving approach — ready to thrive in a fast-paced, small business environment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels.
* Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to meet tight deadlines without breaking a sweat.
Nice-to-Haves for the Management Accountant:
* Manufacturing industry experience.
* SAP B1 knowledge.
* SME background.
* UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
