Fixed-Term position as a result of funding
Funding secured for Ac Yr 25 - 26
Mon – Thurs 8:30am – 12:30pm / 16 hours per week (Term time only)
Grade 4 Scale Point: 5-6 £24,790 – £25,183
Pro-Rata: Approx £10,518 – £10,684

About the role
Our Governing Body is wishing to employ a Teaching Assistant to be located initially within lower KS2, in support of a pupil with an identified special need.
Further to a recent Educational Psychologist Report, we are seeking a suitable, warm, caring individual to share the role of supporting a child who has a range of specific needs including social, emotional and cognition.
The appointed individual will be supporting the learning and pastoral needs of the child and will work closely with both school staff and parents.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working in similar settings, supporting primary aged pupils and may have had relevant experience with such needs.

* Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or above qualification
* Have recent and relevant experience within the primary phase
* Are highly motivated and enthusiastic about pupil’s learning

* Able to demonstrate commitment to raising standards of teaching, learning and achievement
* Friendly, approachable and flexible
* Organised and have good interpersonal and communication skills
