Are you an experienced Tyre Fitter with a background in tyre removal and fitting, looking to expand your skills into alloy wheel refurbishment? Our client, a well-established and family-run Accident Repair Centre in Battersea, is seeking a dedicated Tyre Fitter to join their team with the opportunity to train as an Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Technician.
About the Role: As a Tyre Fitter, you will handle tyre removal and fitting while training to prepare alloy wheels for refurbishment. You’ll work in a fast-paced, professional workshop, ensuring high-quality preparation work before wheels are passed to our professional painter and diamond cutter. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, family-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Remove and fit tyres to vehicles with precision and care
2. Prepare alloy wheels by rubbing down and cleaning for refurbishment
3. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
4. Learn alloy wheel refurbishment techniques under expert guidance
5. Ensure all work meets company and customer quality standards
6. Contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in tyre fitting and removal
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
9. Willingness to learn alloy wheel refurbishment skills
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
11. Proactive and motivated attitude
12. Experience with vehicle jacking and basic workshop tools
