A Senior 3rd line Support Engineer is required to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues whilst optimising systems performance in an industrial / manufacturing environment located in Leeds.

Description
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and hardware issues.
* Optimise systems for maximum speed and scalability.
* Perform system administration tasks in a diverse IT environment.
* Coordinate with the Technology team to design and execute infrastructure changes.
* Train and mentor junior team members.
* Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure IT needs are met.
* Proactively stay updated with latest industry trends and advancements.
* Ensure compliance with all IT policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Senior 3rd line Support Engineer should have:
* A degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Proficiency in system troubleshooting and tech support.
* Solid understanding of software and hardware systems.
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Job Offer
* A salary package around £50,000 + Bens
* Long Service Holidays - 1 day for each completed year of service up to 5 additional days.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd/3rd line support to users across multiple UK sites (primarily remote)
Take ownership of IT operations at assigned locations, including user access, cloud resource management, and remote support
Support or lead the migration and configuration of Microsoft 365 and Azure resources into a centrally managed Azure subscription
Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
Implement and support device management using Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
Contribute to FT-wide IT infrastructure tasks and strategic improvement projects when workload allows
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure administration
Solid understanding of cloud-first environments, identity management, and endpoint security
Microsoft certification or willingness to obtain
Confidence in working independently and supporting multiple sites remotely
Strong troubleshooting skills and user support experience (2nd/3rd line)
Effective communicator with good documentation and organisational skills
