As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as through community-driven initiatives and Indigenous collaborations.
The hospital offers a range of services, including internal medicine, OB/GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, pathology, psychiatry, pediatrics, anesthesia, radiology, urology, and family practice inpatient care. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and engage in ongoing education and professional development.

EKRH is an 80-bed regional referral centre serving approximately 82,000 individuals in the beautiful East Kootenay region of BC. The hospital features a 24/7 emergency and trauma services, a 16-bed unit, and a 6-bed ICU.
The hospital is committed to providing top-notch care and has a range of amenities, including a level 3 lab, new MRI, SPECT CT, and upcoming CT scanners in the radiology department. Construction is also underway for a new NICU, renovated ER triage, and oncology and renal departments.

Compensation and benefits include a total compensation package between $400,000-600,000, flexible scheduling, vacation leave, and relocation funding. You will also be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) and other benefits and incentives.
