The Role
As Head of Design & Technology, you will lead the strategic development of DT across KS3 & KS4, with potential KS5 provision depending on specialism (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering).
Your responsibilities will include:
* Shaping and driving the vision for Design & Technology across the school
* Leading curriculum planning, assessment, and quality assurance
* Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
* Line managing and mentoring departmental staff
* Overseeing health & safety within workshops and practical environments
* Promoting enrichment opportunities such as competitions, STEM initiatives, and exhibitions
You will maintain a teaching timetable and model high-quality, practical classroom practice.

* Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
