Overview

Are you looking for your next step in Operational Management? If you have the ability to prioritise your workload and a can-do attitude, this is the role for you. An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to work as part of the Medical Division as Deputy General Manager (DGM). This role would suit an enthusiastic and forward thinking person looking for a challenge in a post that is both interesting and varied.


Responsibilities

* Act as a senior point of contact to Admin and Clerical staff and work closely with clinical and nursing leads to ensure a high standard of patient care in line with Trust policy and standard operating procedures.
* Lead a team, manage change and resolve complex problems; provide direct supervision to the Administrative Manager and oversee personal development planning and learning needs of staff within the administrative team.
* Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure the Trust's Access Policy is adhered to and that relevant Trust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
* Apply knowledge of demand and capacity planning and use data to drive decision making.
* Manage any human resource issues and contribute to the staff development and welfare of the administrative team.


Qualifications and Skills

* Previous experience of leading a team, managing change and resolving complex problems.
* Resilient, organised, able to work well under pressure, and have exceptional communication skills.
* Knowledge of demand and capacity planning and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
