Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR | Rotating shift pattern
Key Responsibilities
* Contract review and dissemination of customer quality requirements into the business.
* Support the appropriate teams from a quality viewpoint and ensure quality requirements are understood and incorporated.
* Manage the management and introduction of new contracts into the company from a quality viewpoint.
* Manage the customer interface on quality related issues.
* Day to day quality engineering responsibilities:
o Part Inspection
o Conformity Inspection
o Defect investigations / root cause analysis / 8D Investigations
o Corrective action / improvement introduction
* Responsibility for day to day Quality Assurance activities such as auditing, quality systems maintenance and improvement, where required.
What You’ll Bring
* HNC/degree qualification in an engineering discipline.
* Experience working on own initiative without close supervision.
* Experience in problem solving and corrective action implementation.
* Good communication skills for interfacing with departments and customers.
* Driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including overseas travel.
* Competence in the use of measuring techniques and equipment.
* Aerospace experience and understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems is an advantage.
Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
