Field Service Engineer - Central London M25 Corridor
Job Description Summary: BD Medication Management Solutions is looking for a skilled and committed Field Service Engineer to join its Global Customer Services team. The engineer will deliver onsite technical support and training to biomedical engineering teams within healthcare facilities. The role involves maintaining and servicing Infusion Devices, Automated Dispensing Cabinets, and Pharmacy Robotics, including corrective repairs and preventative maintenance, in compliance with Medical Device Regulations.
The successful candidate will join a team supporting BD Alaris and BD Pyxis infusion and medication dispensing systems across the UK and Ireland. Primary focus on healthcare sites across London (Central - M25 Corridor), with flexibility for nationwide travel and overnight stays. Requires technical expertise and a customer-focused approach to ensure reliable performance of critical medical systems.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform on-site or remote technical support and training, including installation, corrective and planned maintenance, adhering to customer service level agreements.
* Provide exemplary customer service, escalate technical and customer satisfaction concerns, and own resolution.
* Build relationships that support and drive commercial growth and operational efficiency while maintaining customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in our customer service management systems, compliant with KPIs and Medical Device Regulation.
* Manage day-to-day planning, ensure tools are calibrated, and maintain an efficient car stock inventory.
* Respect and comply with Departmental Processes, BD Quality Systems, and Health and Safety regulations per BD, customers and Distributor Agreements.
About You
* ONC/HNC in electronic engineering or demonstrable work experience in a technical field service industry.
* Strong IT background: Windows operating systems, networking, troubleshooting; CompTIA Network+ desirable.
* Customer-focused with a proven track record in high-volume, high-pressure service and repair.
* Strong interpersonal and professional skills to articulate and promote service products and value propositions.
* Clean driving license.

Salary and Location
Salary Range: £32,400.00 – £55,100.00 GBP Annual. Primary work location: Winnersh - Eskdale Road, GBR. UK employees may be eligible for compensation and benefits as described on our Careers Site.
