Overview
Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chemistry Lecturer to join a dynamic team at a leading Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by teaching BTEC Level 3 Chemistry to bright and motivated students.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry (BTEC Level 3) to a diverse group of students.
* Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, tailored to the BTEC curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and inspired.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.
Ideal Candidate
* A relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
* Previous experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Chemistry or similar qualifications in a further education setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
A current DBS is also needed for this role.
