Sheet Metal Worker – Job Details
Location: Glasgow
Salary:
* Day shift: £37,318
* Back/Night/Weekend shifts: £49,632
Benefits include a competitive pension plan and an enhanced annual leave allowance.
Shift Patterns:
* Monday – Thursday
* Day Shift: 07:00 – 16:30
* Back Shift: 14:00 – 23:30
* Night Shift: 20:30 – 06:00
* Friday – Sunday
Overtime Rates:
* Monday – Thursday: Time and a third
* Friday: Time and a half for the first 4 hours, double time thereafter
* Saturday: Time and a half
* Sunday: Double time
Qualifications and Skills:
* Modern Apprenticeship certificate or Trade Papers (must provide proof)
* Understanding of SHE, COSHH risks, and manufacturing processes
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at heights
* Safety certifications such as SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height, etc.
* Experience in a major construction or manufacturing environment
