Who You Are An experienced Housing Advice/Prevention/Homelessness Assessment Officer who can effectively start working with minimal guidance. You have a strong understanding of the Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act, and other relevant legislation. You are capable of handling a dynamic caseload, carrying out homelessness inquiries, conducting casework, and drafting s184 decision letters. You thrive in a high-pressure Housing Options Services environment and can manage the service's multiple demands and pressures. What the Job Involves You will be part of the Housing Options duty service, responsible for completing assessments and performing corresponding prevention and relief work. Alongside managing a varied caseload, Hillingdon provides flexible working arrangements, which include being office-based 50% of the time after completing an initial induction period of two to four weeks, depending on competency levels. Office hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
