Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: We need strong experience operating cloud-native production environments. We need Kubernetes experience in production environments; GKE is preferred. We need experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. We need experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. We need experience with Docker and container lifecycle management. We need GitOps workflow experience using tools such as ArgoCD and Kustomize. We need strong networking knowledge, including DNS, TLS/mTLS, load balancing, VPCs, and firewalls. We need confidence working from the command line and using Git-based workflows. Experience with Istio or other service mesh technologies would be advantageous. Experience in PCI-DSS or other regulated, compliance-driven environments would be advantageous. Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including KMS, Cloud Armor, Binary Authorization, and Datastore would be advantageous. Go or PHP debugging capability would be advantageous. We design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe deployments. We manage infrastructure as code across Google Cloud Platform environments using Terraform. We maintain and improve local development environments so engineers can run the full platform effectively. We enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability across all services. We support PCI-DSS compliance requirements through secure infrastructure design and operational controls. We implement and manage network segmentation, secrets management, access controls, and audit processes. We collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and platform reliability.
