The role

Early Years Assistant (Unqualified)

Assist in preparing and delivering educational activities for children. Support the team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Help children develop socially, emotionally, and physically through engaging play‑based learning. Ensure the welfare and safety of all children is maintained.

Qualifications

  • Any formal qualifications are not required. Prior experience in early years settings is beneficial.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.

About the Nursery

Busy Bees Wigston Magna is rated "Good" by Ofsted and offers a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment. The nursery has a capacity of 54 children, established in 1995, and is located near Wigston Magna’s shopping centre and adjacent to Memorial Park. It features two floors with four bright rooms and an outdoor play area that encourages physical activity and exploration.
