Responsibilities
* Produce and deliver drinks and food according to brand standards, recipes, and food safety and licensing laws.
* Follow Bar and Till procedures to ensure accurate transactions and prevent stock loss.
* Provide excellent customer service, proactively offering information throughout the customer journey.
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards on vessels during service.
* Support emergency procedures and participate in drills as required.
* Serve food and beverages, ensuring proper presentation and answering customer questions.
* Adhere to food hygiene and safety procedures.
* Sell alcohol responsibly, complying with licensing laws.
* Greet and engage customers, exploring their food and drink preferences.
* Process sales accurately through the EPOS system.
* Maximize sales through upselling and recommend add-ons.
* Prevent stock loss and ensure proper stock display and restocking.
* Report feedback, complaints, and issues to the line manager.
* Sell tickets to passengers outside of the 'Pay Before You Travel' policy as authorized.
* Make onboard announcements regarding food and beverage offerings and respond to customer queries.
Qualifications
Must have a genuine desire to work with the public, high standards of visitor care, and a positive, flexible attitude. Ability to work in a busy environment with patience and empathy. Food hygiene certificate – Level 2. Previous experience in customer service, food service, or retail is preferred.
