Job Summary:
Lead a team to create and deliver high-quality digital content for the Museum’s learning programme. Drive creative ideas and strategic planning, with a focus on developing a new digital strand for schools, working with regional partners to boost engagement beyond Bloomsbury.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Shape, grow, and deliver an innovative digital learning programme, leveraging internal and external knowledge to enhance the Museum's offerings, collaborating across departments.
2. Develop and implement a strategy for a digital strand targeting schools to expand reach to teachers and students nationwide. Manage content commissioning in partnership with the Schools team and curatorial staff.
3. Collaborate with the Head of Learning and Programmes, Digital Advisory Group, and other colleagues to identify and develop strategic partnerships.
4. Create engaging, diverse, and relevant digital content and resources, overseeing their development and technical aspects in coordination with Museum teams.
5. Manage projects to ensure they meet strategic goals, quality standards, budgets, and deadlines, including liaising with external contractors and partners.
6. Review and update digital resources, developing new content aligned with Masterplan activities.
7. Use data-driven approaches to monitor, evaluate, and improve the programme, conducting user research with schools and teachers to ensure alignment with Museum objectives.
8. Support the Museum’s digital strategy by creating content for social media, websites, and other platforms.
9. Assist in developing funding proposals and applications.
Job Requirements:
Applicants should hold a degree in a relevant field, have experience in managing online learning development, be capable of delivering complex digital projects, possess excellent communication skills, be adaptable, collaborative, and proficient with digital platforms.
