Role
Reporting directly to the Management Accountant the role offers
involvement in a variety of financial areas of the business.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and post on Sage:
* Monthly depot and dairy stock valuation
* Monthly accruals: Payroll
* Monthly Fuel account reconciliations and fleet accruals
Other Tasks:
* Assist in the preparation of depot accounts. Investigate and resolve
* variances.
* Assist in the productions of the management accounts. Investigate and
* resolve variances. Maintain key files.
* Reconcile monthly data and sales analysis – Excel manipulation.
* Assist in the analysis of financial performance
* Assist with purchase ledger postings and account maintenance.
* Maintain records and support annual audit and tax analysis
* requirements
* Assist with year-end stocktaking as required
* Assist with posting BACS transactions on to roundsman.
Skills (Desirable):
* Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT Qualified
* Management accounts / ledger experience required
* Attention to detail, numerate, inquisitive, diligent
* Good time management / meets deadlines
* Strong multitasking, and self-prioritizing skills
* Works well in a team; always willing to help colleagues
* Proactive, dynamic and able to demonstrate initiative
* Good IT and Excel skills– Sage 200 would be a benefit
