This is a bank contract Care Assistant role, with night shifts only, at Avery Healthcare in Newcastle under Lyme. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care to residents, recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors. Job responsibilities
* Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
* Assist residents in personal hygiene care, aiming for optimum independence, dignity and respect at all times.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Qualifications
* No prior experience required, as Avery provides a thorough induction and training programme. However, you must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, be respectful toward residents and staff, work efficiently, and be adaptable to cover varying responsibilities on short notice.
