Core Responsibilities
1. Planning and delivering practical and theoretical lessons that cover nutrition, food safety, and complex culinary techniques.
2. Supervising students during practical sessions to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and equipment safety are maintained.
3. Teaching the functional and chemical properties of ingredients, linking science directly to the kitchen environment.
4. Preparing Key Stage 4 students for their GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition exams through focused theory and high-level practical assessments.
5. Promoting an awareness of food provenance, sustainability, and healthy eating habits across the wider school community.

The Successful Candidate We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about food and able to inspire students with a hands-on approach to learning. Requirements include
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
