Role: Care Assistants – Days
Location: New Lodge, New Earswick, York
Salary: £13.87 to £14.53 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: 28 hours per week
Introduction
We're seeking compassionate and resilient individuals to join the JRHT Care Assistant team at New Lodge. There is both residential and domiciliary accommodation available at New Lodge, a thriving community in New Earswick that provides care accommodation for people aged 55 and over. Along with assisting residents and helping with day-to-day tasks, you’ll really get to know the people you support and become a familiar face to them and their relatives.
Shift Patterns
Shifts at New Lodge are 7.5 hours (including an unpaid 30‑minute break). Early shifts start at 7:00am and late shifts at 1:00pm (residential care). Part‑time roles are 4 shifts a week (28 hours in total).

Essential Requirements
* Right to Work – sponsorship is not available for these roles, you must have the legal right to work in the UK
* DBS – a successful DBS check covering regulated activity
* Care experience – at least 6 months of personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting
