Join to apply for the Seasonal Sales Assistant role. The position is seasonal and based in a busy toy shop environment during the lead-up to Christmas, with a focus on customer service, stock replenishment and maintaining a welcoming store.
Key Information About This Role
Rates of Pay
* 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour
* 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour
Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
Store hours: Our stores open 7 days a week, including Sundays. You may be required to work weekends.
Hours Available
* 12-hour per week contract: four-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts
* 8-hour per week contract: typically four-hour shifts over 2 days, or one full day occasionally
Flexible shifts, friendly attitude and good availability are appreciated. There may be opportunities for extra hours depending on trade.
Seasonal contracts may require work on peak days (e.g., Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve).
Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent customer service and be approachable and reliable
* Move stock, assist with deliveries and merchandising, and keep shelves full
* Support local Tesco concession space as needed

Qualifications / What We Are Looking For
* Reliable and flexible with hours; there may be extra hours when busy
* Approachable and confident in delivering excellent customer service
* Physically able to move stock and work with deliveries and pallets
* Willing to help in the local Tesco concession space, merchandising and handling deliveries
