Role Overview
TheSenior Marketing Executive role work closely with the Head of Marketing, taking the lead on a variety of marketing campaigns, social media, and digital advertising activities. It offers the chance to mentor junior team members whilst contributing to the overall success of the marketing function. As part of a small, agile team, this role is expected to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach. This role requires a proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and achieving strong results across social media and digital advertising.
Responsibilities
Promotions & Marketing Campaigns:
* Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
* Collaborate with agencies on campaign concepts and design, oversee the production and distribution of store signage, coordinate with IT for promotion programming and testing, ensure all campaigns comply with legal and GDPR requirements, align messaging with stakeholders, and partner with data analysts to optimise campaign performance.
Social Media:
* Develop and implement strategies for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Organise monthly content shoots with creative agencies, encourage user-generated content from store colleagues, collaborate with suppliers to enhance brand promotion, and monitor performance to maximise reach and engagement.
Digital Advertising:
* Manage digital advertising initiatives to increase store traffic and maximize ROI.
* Oversee Google Local Inventory Advertising, work with agencies on campaign content and targeting, identify and pursue new digital advertising opportunities, and collaborate with data analysts to measure and improve campaign effectiveness.
Skills and Experience Required
* 5+ years of experience in a marketing role
* Proven experience managing end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns
* Strong knowledge of social media marketing
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset
* Proactive and positive attitude.
* Industry experience
* Knowledge of SEO & PPC
* Management or supervisory skills.
* Note: website and associated digital activity is separately managed by the eCommerce manager. However, knowledge of SEO & PPC would be useful.
Qualifications
* Relevant bachelor’s degree and / or recognised marketing qualification such as CIM
* Candidates without this may still be considered if they have extensive experience in a similar role.
