Behaviour Mentor - SEMH Support - Hackney Long Term Futures are working with a modern and well-resourced secondary school in Hackney to appoint a committed Behaviour Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in behaviour support and SEMH, who is confident working directly with students, staff, and families to create positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour mentoring for students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs * Work closely with pastoral leaders and SEN staff to implement personalised support and intervention plans * Support teaching staff in managing behaviour within lessons and maintaining high expectations * Liaise with families to provide updates, build trust, and involve them in support strategies * Assist in running reflection spaces, behaviour hubs or alternative learning provision within the school * Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour reviews, planning meetings, and student reports Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Experience supporting secondary students with SEMH or behavioural needs * A proactive, calm, and solution-focused approach to challenging situations * Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with both students and adults * An interest in long-term behaviour mentoring or pastoral leadership * Background in youth work, education, or psychology is desirable Location & Tr...
