A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager within the Manufacturing function in Lincoln, you will lead new product introduction projects ranging from simple components to complex assemblies. You will manage capital equipment justification and procurement, support the development of new manufacturing processes, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Your day will involve stakeholder engagement, cost and schedule control, cross-functional coordination, and ensuring compliance with the Siemens Product Development Process (PDP).
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead and manage small to medium internal manufacturing-related projects, including new product introductions and process improvements.
2. Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, assembly and test, and external partners.
3. Deliver projects within the Siemens Product Development Process framework, ensuring structured governance and compliance.
4. Manage project budgets, including annual budgets up to €1m, ensuring effective cost control and reporting.
5. Act as the primary customer contact for assigned projects, managing stakeholder expectations and resolving issues.
6. Maintain accurate project plans, records, and reports to ensure visibility and control.
7. Coordinate supplier activities to ensure on-time delivery to required quality standards within budget constraints.
8. Manage and resolve project risks and issues, escalating appropriately when required.
9. Support the Manufacturing Management Team on specific assigned projects and special duties as required.
What You Bring
10. Experience managing projects within a manufacturing environment, driving and delivering change.
11. Proven experience managing budgets and delivering to agreed targets and measures.
12. HNC qualified (or equivalent), with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
13. Strong product and manufacturing knowledge, with understanding of Siemens Energy Industrial Turbomachinery products preferred.
14. Basic commercial and legal understanding.
15. Ability to lead multi-functional teams and coordinate cross-departmental activities.
16. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
17. Customer-focused, process-oriented mindset with entrepreneurial drive and initiative.
18. Ability to manage meetings, maintain project documentation, and work professionally within governance standards.
