The below job description outlines the position of: Electrical Installation Engineer. Typically, this person will come from a strong electrical installation background with experience working on generators, UPS systems and associated control panels. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out full electrical and minor mechanical works required to complete the installation, commissioning and testing of diesel generators, UPS systems and automated control switchgear within critical power environments.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical and minor mechanical works required for installation and commissioning of generators, control panels, fuel systems and associated equipment
* Install diesel generators and UPS systems including automated transfer switchgear
* Ensure all installations comply with current wiring regulations and applicable codes of practice
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings and technical specifications
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults during installation and commissioning phases
* Support site surveys and assist in project delivery activities
* Provide basic technical training and handover support to clients
* Ensure all installations meet statutory, environmental and regulatory requirements
* Install systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practice
* Adhere to company Health & Safety policies at all times
* Assist with commissioning and final client handover
Qualifications and requirements
* Qualified Electrical Installation Engineer
* BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
* ECS Gold Card (Essential)
* Proven experience working with generators, control systems, fuel systems and critical power equipment
* Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and installation standards
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
* Experience with fault diagnosis and commissioning of electrical/control systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to undergo security clearance where required
* Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
