Overview
Lead Clinician - Practitioner Psychologist, OT, SaLT position based at Bluebank School, Derbyshire S41 8LQ. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Permanent contract (term time only, or flexibility around a full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances). Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 FTE DOE.
Working within Outcomes First Group, you will join a multidisciplinary clinical team in an education setting, contribute to research and professional development, and support pupils with complex needs. The employer has been awarded a Great Place to Work for the 5th year running.
The Role
To manage our in-house Clinical Team at Bluebank School and work in collaboration with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The postholder will:
* Split time between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH).
* Work toward EHCP plan targets using Outcomes First Group clinical approaches (group, individual, all).
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members and lead service development for the school-based clinical service with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Location
Bluebank School – Derbyshire S41 8LQ. Bluebank School forms part of our Acorn Education brand and is an independent specialist day school for young people aged 11–16. Bluebank School is opening Spring 2026.
Essential Criteria
* Doctorate or BPS stage 2 qualification; must be a registered psychologist, SaLT, or OT with HCPC registration.
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration & membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service.
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty (preferred).
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
