Personality You will be responsible for purchasing and scheduling the raw materials and packaging needed for the efficient functioning of the production site, as well as purchasing/scheduling product for external warehouses in Europe and Toller Manufacturers. Reward 8am to 4pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm (40hrs per week) Holiday accrued Free parking Job Role: Creating purchase orders for Raw Materials, Packaging and Bought-In products, for the production site and external warehouses Ensuring that all materials arrive on schedule and meet the requirements For direct and indirect spend, where not under the control of the central team, select appropriate suppliers and negotiate prices and other relevant parameters, to achieve the most cost-effective outcome Utilising MRP/SAP to manage inventory levels of finished product, raw materials and packaging, consistent with guidelines and financial targets Collaborating with the Central Sourcing department on market consultation or information about suppliers and estimated demands, as well as the introduction of new materials/suppliers Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with suppliers Working with all internal stakeholders to minimise slow-moving inventory and reduce the levels of redundant materials Control relevant aspects of the introduction of new materials, working with the key stakeholders Raising the necessary new item requests or change requests, and ensuring that the relevant information is present in MRP Analysing and reporting on Backorders and Service Level every week Skills and experience: Experience with using MRP, 2 Years plus is essential 1 years experience in Purchase Order Management Strong verbal and written communication skills SAP, particularly the purchase order experience Previous Manufacturing and Inventory Management Experience Please note: We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
