We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong flair for hairstyling, colour techniques, and customer service, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities
* Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
* Offer specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client looks.
* Manage front desk duties, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
* Build rapport with clients through excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering professional advice.
* Upsell products and additional services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
* Mentor junior team members and assist in training new staff to uphold salon standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage store operations effectively, including stock management and ensuring the salon environment remains inviting.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with skills in barbering, colour techniques, and styling.
* Knowledge of store management principles is advantageous.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
* Experience in front desk operations or reception duties is desirable.
* Additional skills such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, mentoring, and upselling are highly valued.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
* A recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering is essential.
