Nursery Manager New Nursery Opening (Islington) From £45,000 per year | 40 hours per week Start Date: Nursery opening end of March 2026 Location: Islington, London Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to lead a brand-new nursery setting opening in Islington in March 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who wants to shape a high-quality early years environment from the very beginning. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the team, creating an excellent learning culture, ensuring full compliance, and driving the operational success of the nursery. Key Responsibilities Lead the full set-up and launch of the nursery ahead of the March 2026 opening Recruit, mentor, and manage the nursery team Ensure high standards of safeguarding, EYFS delivery, and health & safety Manage occupancy, parent relationships, and overall nursery performance Handle budgeting, staffing, rotas, documentation, and regulatory compliance Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and families Build strong community and local partnerships Requirements Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) essential Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or very strong Deputy Manager Deep understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and quality practice Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Confidence in opening or scaling a nursery setting Ambitious, reliable, and committed to excellence Benefits Salary from £45,000 per year (dependent on experience) 40-hour full-time contract Opportunity to shape a new nursery from the ground up Supportive leadership team and long-term career progression Professional development and training How to Apply Please upload your CV via Totaljobs.
