Barker Munro Recruitment is recruiting for a client who takes pride in delivering outstanding service in the Liability Injury sector and consistently meets and exceeds client expectations.
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join their Liability Injury team as a Claims Handler to manage cases through to settlement.
As a Liability Injury Claims Handler, you will manage customer claims proactively, ensuring high-quality service. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development within a supportive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include receiving and assessing new claims, maintaining accurate reserves, reviewing technical reports and invoices, and providing instructions within your authority. You will collaborate with peers on claims exceeding your authority and document referral actions properly. Building strong relationships with clients and enhancing the customer experience through excellent communication are key aspects of this role.
Applicants should have experience in Injury Claims related to Public Liability or Employers Liability, be team-oriented, detail-focused, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills, along with a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving, are essential.
This role can be hybrid, based in Birmingham, or remote with monthly team visits and occasional client visits.
Working Monday to Friday, the role offers 25 days holiday plus a range of generous benefits.
