Location: Bristol

Role Type: Permanent – Part Time, 22.5 hours per week

Role Purpose:



As a member of the Bristol Site Team, you will undertake a range of reception duties across the business, always presenting a positive image of QinetiQ and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed.



This will be a part-time position (22.5 hrs) with set hours for the Reception duties:

0730-1600 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.



The list of accountabilities details tasks which the role holder may be required to undertake. This list is not exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake other related tasks appropriate to their level of seniority.





Key Accountabilities:



* Providing reception service and assistance to internal and external customers.
* Communicates and exchange information using tact and diplomacy.
* Administration and support of visitor and event bookings using standard procedures and in line with health and safety and security requirements.
* Liaising effectively with visitor hosts.
* Maintaining a range of records, entering, collating and organising data using standard methods to assist with data analysis.
* Support Site Co-ordinator to ensure site and security information for the site are up to date.
* Ordering of office consumables.
* Sending and receiving of mail or goods using standard security and safety procedures.
* Demonstrates understanding of the concepts of the Site Team and has awareness of other business areas.
* Identifying and communicate continuous improvement opportunities within own role and tasks, and assistance with the implementation of the improvement.
* Carrying out any additional duties, as requested by the HoS and Site Co-ordinator.
* Providing holiday/sickness cover for other members of the Reception Team as and when required.

Experience & Qualifications:



Essential:



* Experience within a reception/customer service role.
* Role will require security clearance through Defence Vetting Agency. This will be arranged by QinetiQ



Desirable:



* Business admin or customer service qualification to NVQ Level 3.
