Job Title: High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Level 4
Area: Oldham, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 36.40 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Complement the work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under supervision.
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging learning activities for individuals, small groups, or whole classes.
* Monitor, assess, record and report on pupils\' achievement, progress and development.
* Contribute to the coordination, development and delivery of our home tuition service.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a HLTA or in a similar role.
* A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
* Access to your own vehicle with business insurance (essential, as the role involves travelling to pupils\' homes).
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
* A commitment to supporting children\'s learning and wellbeing.
Additional Information
* Mileage undertaken each week will be reimbursed in line with Oldham Council guidelines (agency to establish and agree rate).
* This is a full-time position starting ASAP / September 2025.
