Job Description
As an Experienced Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of high-performance analogue and RF integrated circuits. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing layouts using industry-standard CAD tools, ensuring the highest quality and performance of our products.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop complex analogue and RF layouts, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability. 2. Utilize CAD tools, particularly Cadence Virtuoso, to create and verify layouts. 3. Collaborate closely with circuit design engineers to understand design requirements and constraints. 4. Perform layout verification, including DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction. 5. Optimize layouts for performance, area, and power consumption. 6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and be willing to learn and adopt new design flows and methodologies. 7. Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to a collaborative and innovative culture.
Main Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in analogue and RF layout design.
* Proficiency in CAD tools, especially Cadence Virtuoso.
* Strong fundamentals in circuit knowledge and understanding of design principles.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to learn and adapt to new design flows and methodologies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with advanced process nodes and technologies.
* Knowledge of layout techniques for minimizing noise, crosstalk, and other parasitic effects.
* Familiarity with scripting languages for automation of layout tasks.
