This 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact in the life of a child with additional needs, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school setting.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Graduate with a 2:1 degree or above (preferred)
* Previous child-related experience, ideally with SEN
* Aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Counsellors, or Therapists
* Confident with behaviour management strategies
* Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
* Passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs
* Reliable, hardworking, and professional
* Positive and empathetic personality
Role Details – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 SEN support in and out of the classroom
* Roles available in KS1 and KS2
* Work closely with the SENCo
* Track academic and social development
* Deliver small group interventions weekly
* Full-time role starting in September
* Long-term contract for the academic year (potential to extend)
* Based in Barnet
