* 1 Full-time Permanent Post (Agile Working) of 37 hours per week
* Salary: £42,897.00 - £46,503.00 per annum
West Yorkshire Police, Digital Policing (IT), is seeking a Business Analyst to support our Innovation team in delivering digital projects aligned with our corporate strategy. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams throughout the project lifecycle to shape ideas into viable projects, develop realistic business requirements, and contribute to effective solutions.
Purpose of the Role
Engage with the business to ensure the execution, delivery, and management of client expectations regarding significant technological changes or services. Aim to improve alignment of Digital Policing services with business requirements, communicate departmental strategy, and resolve customer service issues.
Key Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience in business relationship and stakeholder management
* Experience in business analysis and requirement gathering for technical solutions
* Knowledge of marketing and communication with customers; excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
* Methodical and analytical problem-solving skills
* Experience with project management methodologies such as Prince 2, Scrum, DSDM, Agile
* Ability to influence senior and middle managers regarding technology projects
* Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes within the Force area
* Full UK/European driving license and access to a motor vehicle for business use
